Halloween

Todd got to dress up for work today, so he decided to go as a cowboy.  The only thing he was missing was the belt buckle.  So he decided to make one out of cardboard and tinfoil.  The kids said that he looked like Woody.  The kids were very excited for Halloween, as usual, and for trick-or-treating.  Rory wanted to go trick-or-treating with her friend Avery and Andrew wanted to go with his friend Hunter.  So I set it up with their parents and we all got together in their neighborhood to go.
The kids had a lot of fun being with their friends and I had fun talking with their moms too.  My kids are lazy trick-or-treaters though.  I ended up carrying their bags for most of the time.  Andrew would get candy at the door and bring it back to me.  Rory would come get her bag, go to the door for the candy, and then bring the bag back to me.  After a bit more than an hour my kids were ready for bed.  It was a good Halloween.
