So this past weekend we went to Logan to visit family. On Saturday we went to this place called Hardware Ranch with my dad, stepmom, Spencer (Todd's brother), and his wife Katie. Hardware Ranch is an elk farm. We were suppose to be riding sleighs and looking at elk in the mountains, but if that is what a sleigh looks like...wow!
Despite the funning looking sleighs, we all learned a lot about elk. Here is a great picture of some of the elk. Some of the elk were pretty amazing--the largest buck was a six by six (whatever that means).
Despite the cold weather and the jolting of the "sleigh," Andrew slept through the whole experience. We had to take a picture to prove that he went there.
On Sunday we decided to go play in the snow. We went tubing on Old Main Hill up by Utah State University. We had a blast, and Andrew actually stayed awake this time. We went with Spencer, Katie, and Julianne (Todd's sister). Because we only had one tube, some of us ended up sliding down the hill on our butts, knees, stomachs, or any other way we could get to the bottom of the hill. Andrew looked so cute in his snow suit. We spent about three hours tubing and then headed back to Spencer's for some hot soup.
