I am so proud of TODD!
I just wanted to take a moment and let every know that I am so proud of my husband. Let me start by bringing you up to speed. As many of you know we left a comfy life in WA a little over two years ago so my husband could fulfill a dream of his, to study accounting at BYU. I was very supportive but scared. He was only starting out with his generals and still needed to get into the accounting program and it is a very prestigious program. Well that all worked out well and he was accepted into the accounting program, but that wasn't the end. Now he needed to get into the masters of accounting program. This would be even harder since in the tax emphasis portion they were only accepting 60 students. Well we were lucky and again got in. So now it is the beginning of the program and the next step for us is to get an internship lined up for next fall and school has started. On the second day of school we found out that for the Big 4 accounting firms (KPMG, Ernst & Young, Deloitte, and PriceWaterhouseCoopers) and Grant Thornton we had to have his applications in within four days. When that task was complete we were relieved, but that only lead to more waiting. Now this is where the proud part comes in, after the waiting was done Todd heard back from all five companies and is in the middle of his first interviews with them. Man my husband is amazing! Well we aren't done yet after first interviews if all goes well we will have fly outs next month, so keep us in your prayers.

Way to go Todd! And Nicole, you have a right to be proud, so am I. But you also make us proud of the way you take care of Todd and Andrew and all you do for them. I know how hard it can be when you are tired, and pregnant and not feeling well, especially when Todd is so busy and isn't around to help as much as you wish, but you do it all any way and are such a good wife and Mom. Thank you. Love ya, Gayle
Yay for activel blogging! So Josh got a job with a company called Schmitt Westergard. It's a medium sized local accounting firm (in Josh's exact words). He likes it so far, it's primarily LDS people and he really likes all the people there. So is Todd looking for sure in AZ? It would be so cool to live near you guys. Then you can keep me up on the latest gossip! Just kidding.
I tied the necks with some yarn. And it's blue too. It really doesn't matter what its tied with because you barely see it anyway.
So Happy For You Guys! Congrats!!! & PS - You better come & visit us next summer! We'd love to see you.
