We Got to Arizona...Finally.

Our trip to AZ started out a little bit rocky. As some of you probably know there has been some pretty bad weather all around the country. This is affecting a lot of flights. We were set to fly out from SLC on Sunday at 6:35pm. We called Southwest to make sure the flight was on time. Unfortunately it wasn't. It was delayed until 8:10pm. So we went to my parents house and hung out until about 5:30pm. My mom took us to the airport and we checked our luggage. We got through security and down to our gate, and then we found out that our flight was delayed until 8:35pm. We talked to someone at Southwest's customer service desk, and they told us that our plane was coming from Seattle where they are getting "hammered" with bad weather. We were told that our plane would be the last one to fly in or out of Seattle. As we waited the time kept getting pushed back farther and farther. Our plane finally left Seattle around 8:30pm and was scheduled to arrive at 9:45pm. We finally flew out of SLC at about 10:25pm. We got to Mom's house about 1:30am. We were glad to finally get here, but it was one of the longest days of our lives. Good luck to anyone traveling this year.
