Go Diamondbacks!!!

Nicole's mom got offered some free tickets to Diamondbacks games through her work. We went to one game in June, and then another one tonight. We decided that it would be a good idea to catch the lightrail in Tempe and ride it to the stadium. The kids were excited to ride on the train and go to a baseball game again. We got to the stadium and it was dinner time, so we got Rory a corn dog and Andrew some popcorn. We found our seats and watched the game. I have to say that it isn't the same as when we lived in WA and went to Mariner's games. There was so much energy and fun at Safeco Field. They just don't have that here. It seems a little lax and boring, but it's baseball and the kids still have fun. Here are some photos of the first game we went to back in June. The kids really enjoyed riding the train.Yes, Rory loves corn dogs, and Andrew loves his popcorn. They had this cool little playground for the kids to play on. When they got bored watching the game, they went and played until it was time to leave. The kids were excited to take a picture with Diamondback Mickey Mouse. (Remember this was before we went to Disneyland.) If you look at their hands, they also got souvenirs at the first game. Andrew got a stuffed Diamondback rattlesnake, and Rory got a little note pad and pen. She loves to draw! And here are some of the game we went to tonight. Hey Batter Batter, hey Batter Batter, Swing, hah, Strike!Do you think he can throw a strike with this ball?GO D-BACKS!
