Some Pre-Easter Fun

With Easter coming up this weekend we have used a couple of our Family Fun Nights to get ready for Easter. A few weeks ago we went to the party store to get some Easter decorations, and then we decorated the house with the kids when we got home. And yesterday we dyed eggs. The kids had a lot of fun coloring the eggs. Andrew didn't look too sure about this egg--what is he thinking?Rory spent about 20 minutes coloring on an egg with a white crayon. We hoped it would work like the wax crayons that you get with the dye kits. It didn't, but Rory still had fun coloring the egg. She dropped it before we could dye it anyway, so it didn't matter too much. Andrew wanted to carry his eggs around with him, but after he dropped and cracked one, we told him he should probably leave it in the egg carton. The first thing he asked me this morning was if he could have his egg. It was really cute. I also made an ugly egg this year. I think it looks like a potato. I've done better, but this isn't too bad.
