Happy Easter!

Easter was a lot of fun this year, mostly for the kids. As you may have read in a recent blog we had some fun times getting ready for Easter. On Saturday I took the kids to an Easter Egg Hunt in Apache Junction. They had fun getting their eggs (no real hunting is required at these things--more of a mad dash), and jumping in the bounce house. I got their Easter baskets out to take to the Easter Egg Hunt, so they were ready for that night for the Easter Bunny. A while ago Nicole told Rory that she could leave her "paci" in her Easter basket and the Easter Bunny would take it and give it to a baby who needs it more than she does. I don't remember where Nicole got the idea from, but it was cute and it made Rory more willing to give up her "paci." The kids woke up in the morning and they were very excited to go downstairs to see what the Easter Bunny had left for them. We went and got Mommy, so she could bring them down while I took video/photos. They were both very pleased with their presents from the Easter Bunny. Now just so you don't think that we're only into the materialistic side of Easter, ask either one of my kids why we celebrate Easter. Rory will emphatically say, "Jesus RESURRECTED." And Andrew will tell you, "Jesus died for Us and Me and was Resurrected because he loves us." They are too cute!

HAPPY EASTER!!!
