This was our last full day on vacation, and thus far the beach had been closed every day due to wind and pretty big waves. But I wanted to play in the waves

and Andrew still needed to build a sand castle,

so we headed down to the beach for several hours. We all had a lot of fun playing in the sand and the waves. Andrew even went into the waves with me today.
I was so proud of him for facing his fears. On the beach they have this photo op with a surf board. Andrew was really cute.

He wouldn't get off so the rest of us could have a turn. We spent quite a while on the beach even though Andrew kept telling us that he wanted to go up to the pools.

Finally we decided to head up to the pool area for a little bit before the kids had to take their naps. We ended up spending a lot of time in the pool becasue the kids didn't want to go take a nap.

Then they got exhausted, so we headed upstairs. While the kids were napping Nicole and I just spent time swimming and lounging.
That night after dinner the kids were just watching a movie. Nicole and I thought it would be fun to go down to the hot tub for a little while. It was pretty windy and sprinkling a little bit when we went outside, but we figured that it would be nice and warm in the hot tub. Well it would have been if it was a hot tub and not just a whirlpool. It was only 72 degrees. However the wind made it colder outside, so we stayed down in the water. Some people that we had been playing soccer with came in the whirlpool and we talked with them for awhile. Around 8:00pm or so it was raining very hard and we decided to make a run for the room. We took a shower and got warmed up and then we got ready for bed.
