Today will be a much easier day to write about. There's not a lot you can say about going to the beach, so I'll just show you all the fun we had. Nicole said that I should write about one thing however. Despite my better judgement, I will do as she asks. So apparently, in California they have cities that have the same name as beaches. We wanted to go to Huntington Beach (the beach). I however was unaware that there is also a city named Huntington Beach. When I looked up directions from our hotel to the beach, I just typed in Huntington Beach thinking that would get me to the Beach. So I ended up having to stop and ask for directions to the actual beach when we got to Huntington Beach city. Yes I am a bit stupid sometimes, but oh well. We found the beach and had a blast.
We played with sand toys, and I built things for the kids to destroy.

We wrote messages in the sand (Andrew took this picture--he was very proud of himself)...

for Meemaw,

and for Nicole (Mommy).

We played with a beach ball.

There were some pretty hot women on the beach that day! (At least one!) Stop staring at my sexy wife!

And Mommy and Rory had a lot of fun playing in the waves. That one was a bit of a shocker!

Daddy and Rory had a lot of fun playing in the waves earlier that day, but Mommy was relaxing and I couldn't have that much fun and take pictures at the same time. Andrew wasn't too interested in the waves. He just enjoyed relaxing and playing in the sand. We stayed at the beach until late afternoon, then headed back to the hotel. We got McDonalds for dinner, relaxed in the hotel room, and we are going to bed early because tomorrow we are going for the Early Morning Madness at Disneyland.

I love the beach!! Looks like a lot of fun! It's fun that Rory is old enough to care about the waves now, since in San Diego she spent a lot of time under the umbrella and not in the water!
