Halloween

Since Halloween was on a Sunday this year, we had some Halloween fun on Saturday and Sunday. We carved the pumpkins we got a few weeks ago at Mother Nature's Farm. Neither of the kids were very interested in getting their hands dirty, but Todd and I had fun getting all gooey. The kids did want to carve their own pumpkins. Since we only had one small pumpkin, because Rory's went rotten, they each carved one side of the pumpkin. Andrew really enjoyed carving his pumpkin. He wanted to do it by himself, as he repeatedly told Todd this when he tried to help him. After we were done we got ready for our ward's "Trunk-or-Treat"/Chili Cook-off. The kids had a lot of fun going room to room getting candy. (Fly Tinkerbell, fly!)The cutest dinosaur ever! Hopefully he won't go extinct.Afterwards we came home and went through all the candy. The kids were finally allowed to eat some and they were very happy. Today after church we made homeade clam chowder in bread bowls for dinner. Then we made carmel popcorn and enjoyed the kids newest movie "Tinkerbell and The Great Fairy Rescue." It was a great holiday weekend--HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

We also want to give a big thanks to Meemaw for buying the kids their Halloween costumes and for the new movie.  We love you.
