We left Kangaroo Zoo and headed back to my parent's house. Nicole still wasn't feeling very good, but she said she would still try to go to the waterpark. We got out to Seven Peaks around 1pm or so. We got settled in the cabana my sister had rented and went to check things out. It didn't seem like they had a lot of stuff for the kids. They liked the wave pool, especially Andrew. And they had a kiddie section that was pretty fun too. Andrew was more into everything than Rory was. So all in all it wasn't the most fun that I have had at a waterpark. Nicole ended up still being quite sick and laid around in the cabana--she even filled up a 20 oz. cup with vomit. So she didn't have the best time. Because she wasn't feeling well, when the kids wanted to go on one of the big slides I recruited my dad to hold Andrew while Rory rode with me. We had a double tube and we got thrashed big time. We had to hang on to the kids for dear life. My dad ended up smashing his shoulder into the wall and I hit my elbow pretty hard protecting Rory. Luckily Nicole had made sure they had their life jackets on before we went down the slide. When we made it to the bottom, Rory said, "Dad, that was NOT fun!" I had to agree with her. Despite the unpleasantries, it was a pretty good day. When we got home that night, we had to start packing stuff up as we wanted to leave at a decent hour in the morning. Then we hit the sack to get ready for another long drive.
