August 10th

Today my little Andrew turned three.  We let him sleep in a little.  Then Todd, Rory and I woke him up singing Happy Birthday.  When he got out of bed he saw that we had decorated the dining room with a sign, balloons, and candy rocks on the table. 

He also got a birthday card in the mail from Meemaw yesterday which he opened today.  She had taped coins in the card.  He got rocks and money(or moneys as he calls them) he loved it.  Todd made cinnamon rolls for him for breakfast.  Then we did our morning routine, played games, and got ready to take the kids for pictures.  The kids took way cute pictures and both got a little something.  Then we came home and the kids played with the neighbor kids.  We had one of the neighbor girls, Maleah, come over to play and eat lunch.  Andrew and Maleah have known each other since Andrew was born and now they are neighbors.  The kids took their afternoon naps.  When they both woke up we went to the Lindon Aquatic Center with a couple neighbors and Todd's sister, Carolee's family.  It was a lot of fun.  I wish I would have brought my camera.  Andrew was so brave going down the slide.  He was being clingy to Carolee most of the time though.  After swimming we got pizza from Little Caesars for everyone who went swimming with us and ate it out in the courtyard.  Then it was time to put the kids to bed because they were tired and cranky.  I thought it was a great birthDAY for Andrew.  When the kids were in bed we had a friend of ours, Danny, come over and play Risk.  Todd's niece Kaitlyn is staying with us for a few days so she played too.  I really had a great day today, it was much better than yesterday!
