August 20th and 21st

Our Internet wasn't working yesterday, so I will tell you about it now as well as today. Yesterday started out as a typical Friday with Rory napping and Todd going grocery shopping. After that Todd took Rory to the doctor to make sure she is okay since she has been real fussy since she got her shots. While they were gone Andrew and I played at the park. Todd and Rory got home in time for lunch and nap time. After naps we drove up to Sandy so Kim, Todd's dad, could take Andrew on the train and to Gateway to run in the fountains. I was excited, nervous, and wishing I could be a fly on the wall the whole time. I was excited that Kim was doing something with Andrew by himself. I was also excited Andrew was getting to experience new things with his grandfather. I was nervous because Kim has never been alone with Andrew and never in public with a lot of other people around. I wish I could have been a fly on the wall to hear what they talked about and to take pictures. Andrew said it was a lot of fun and Kim seemed to enjoy it too.

While Andrew was gone Todd, Rory, and I went and did a little shopping. It was so weird because we don't usually have Rory all by herself. I really enjoyed it! After shopping we went back to Todd's parents and jumped on the trampoline and waited for Andrew. We ended up eating dinner and playing on the trampoline for awhile. The kids really enjoyed themselves.

Rory didn't really want to go to Bampa Baldy...until he was on the swing. What can I say, She loves to swing!

Today we really didn't do much. We hung around the house, played outside a little, and packed a little. It was actually a little weird that we had a day that we didn't do anything. I am sure it won't be like that this next week.

We borrowed our friend's bike and took a walk around the apartment complex this afternoon.While Todd was making dinner, I kept the kids entertained. (You wouldn't know from this pic., but Rory had been crying for the previous half hour or so.)
