This morning was busy and rather stressful. We had to get Rory to nap on time all the while packing for Sandy and cleaning the bathroom (our chore for the day). We were lucky she woke up on her own and we did not have to wake her. Then we had to get her ready, the rest of us were ready. We had a surprise 60th anniversary party for Todd's dad's parents we had to get to by 11am. We were running late but luckily so were they. It was a nice surprise, good food, and fun to be around family we don't always get to see.
As the luncheon came to an end we knew we had to say good-bye to some more family and we don't know when we will see them again.
Since some of Todd's siblings had taken the day off work we figured we would go back to their parent's house and hang out the rest of the day. It turned out great. My kids napped, we played a game, and talked a lot. The kids enjoyed jumping on the trampoline as usual and Rory ate like 3 pieces of watermelon.
Days like today make it really hard. I know us moving is a good thing but it is not easy. Todd's brother and his wife asked Todd if he would cut Carson's hair. Todd did an okay job. He cut the front a little too short, but they were greatful that he was willing to do it.
As things were winding down we had to say goodbye to them. That was very hard for me. We have had a rocky relationship over the last year, but we have also grown so close since we have lived in Utah. I hope some day they move to Arizona so we can be close again. Today was a lot of fun!
