I Am Thankful For A Backyard

Around dinner time tonight I was tired and the kids were full of energy.  They were happy to go right outside in our backyard and occupy themselves (and the dog) while I made dinner.  Our backyard is not much except a little patio and a lot of dirt.  They do have a basketball hoop, a t-ball set and an array of balls to play with.  We will soon be putting up a trampoline (it is a Christmas present) and later on putting in grass.  But right now I am thankful for the dirt and space, we call our backyard, where my kids are able to just be kids.
