I Am Thankful For Funerals

Being thankful for funerals may sound weird, but to me it means seeing family you don't get to see on a regular basis, pondering the life of the loved one who has passed, and remembering that there is a bigger plan and we will be together again.  In the last year Todd and I have lost 3 grandparents.  At each of the three funerals we have been to, we have seen family members that we have not seen for awhile.  We have enjoyed the little time we have been able to spend with friends and relatives.  It is fun to reminisce about good times and memories.  And even though each time we are saddened by our loss we know we will be together again.  I am thankful for all the wonderful things that come from funerals.
