I really wanted to make placemats from a fabric that I found and used on a wreath earlier. And I wanted to make some felt placemats for the kids. I wasn't able to find the fabric for our placemats, but still wanted to make the kids. I found a tutorial
here. I got frustrated when I couldn't make the pattern for the kid's placemats work. Then I realized that I had it the wrong direction. With a lot of help from my mom, we were able to get them done, and they turned out really cute. The kids love them and are excited to eat Thanksgiving dinner on them. I am thankful that one set of placemats are finished and look just how I pictured them.
