I Am Thankful For A Decorated Christmas Tree

It is tradition for us to put up our tree on Friday night after Thanksgiving and Black Friday are over.  The tree went up as usual this year.  It is also tradition that we decorate it on Saturday mid morning, but since we had family pictures we pushed it back to the afternoon/evening.  Well while the kids took a nap yesterday Todd put Christmas lights on our house (which he was overly excited to do) and got dehydrated.  (And this morning we decided it could also be food poisoning.)  Since Todd's parents were leaving this morning we wanted to share the experience with them and do it before they left.  So our tree is up and look amazing.  I love having the Christmas tree up and thinking about all the memories of our ornaments.  We also like to sit under the tree and stare up at it and see all the pretty lights.  I am thankful for a decorated tree to be a symbol in our home this holiday season.
